Intermediate Quilting Row by Row Supply List (4/15/19)
In consideration of others, please arrive promptly to class with all necessary supplies and materials.
Basic supplies listed below, other supplies may be necessary for special techniques. Will be offered by instructor or listed in weekly class materials.
Basic Supplies
- Required Book: Quilting Row by Row: 27 Skill Building Techniques by Jeanette White
- Sewing machine in good working order (1/4” presser foot helpful)
- Machine needles – Microtex #80/12 and 90/14
- Thread for machine in light gray or beige for piecing, various colors to match fabric for applique.
- Fabric Scissors
- Paper Scissors
- Seam ripper
- Straight Pins/needles
- Stiletto
- Magic Sizing or Mary Ellen’s Best Press
- Rotary Cutter
- Rotary Mat
- Various Rotary Rulers
Fabric Requirements for Intermediate Quilting
- 4 yards of Background Fabric
- 36 Fat Quarters in variety of colors. 6 FQ’s should be in shades of green. Recommend small or medium scale prints on fabric.
The following fabrics can be decided on later after starting on your quilt top.
- 2 1/4 yards of Border Fabric
- 4 7/8 yards of Backing Fabric
- 65” X 86” batting
- 1 1/8 yards for binding

Paradise Sewing Class Policies
Full payment of fee is required at the time of registration to hold your space in class.
A credit or transfer will only be issued for registrations canceled by student at least 4 days prior to a class.
Paradise Sewing reserves the right to cancel 48 hours prior to any class if participation level is below minimum.
We will issue a full refund of class fees for any class we cancel.
Early registration discount:
Students must register at least one week before class starts to be eligible for a 20% discount on their class supplies.
