Geese in the Lilies with Wendy Mathson
Class 1: Wendy will teach you her favorite way of making accurate Flying Geese blocks. (Hint: It’s different than the method shown in the pattern.) You will learn several techniques, and you can decide which works best for you. She also show you her short-cut for putting the blocks together. You’ll have 2 weeks before class #2 to get your units pieced.
Class 2: This pattern has a only few appliqué pieces, so it is perfect for teaching some different techniques. Fusible appliqué is not always the best choice! Watch Wendy’s demos, then choose your favorite method. We’ll also cover block assembly and constructing the quilt top.
