Exploding Hearts 

My Heart is bursting w joy! Come join in the fun and create your own exploding heart! The quilt can be made in many different colors as well as sizes. The original Pattern size is 72” x 72”. Other sizes which can be made are 36” SQ, 45” SQ, 54” SQ, or larger. This class will teach this quilt top using traditional cutting and/or AccuQuilt.

 Exploding Heart Pattern by Life of Pi - required (in stock at Paradise Sewing)
 Sewing Machine in good working order (1/4” presser foot)
 80/12 needles for piecing
 Neutral Thread color for piecing
 Fabric Scissors
 Seam Ripper (best friend)
 Pins / Mini Clips
 Rotary Cutter / 18” x 24” Mat / 6” x 24” Ruler
 Iron and Ironing Pad Fabric (for original pattern size):
 4 1/4 yard – Background
 15 Fat Quarters
 5 yards Backing (40” width) or 2 ½ yards WIDE Backing
 2/3 yard Binding AccuQuilt (OPTIONAL):
 Cutting Machine & Mats
 Dies:
o Qube 8, Shapes 1, 3 & 4 (or any other size you wish to use – the shapes stay the same)
