Beginning Quilting with MaryJo
In this class, you will learn the basics of quilting and the tools needed to make a quilt. You will have the option of making a baby size quilt or a table runner.
Maybe something for Christmas would be fun!!!
The first class will be an intro to quilting so no machine is needed. MaryJo will discuss the parts of a quilt, terms used in quilting, binding, piecing, organizing blocks, borders, backing, quilting and tying.
For this first class you will need a cutting mat, rotary cutter and quilting ruler (12X6). A notebook for taking notes.
